Focus
Focus is a portable ceramic tea set for preparing and drinking tea. The set is divided into two parts, a single pot and a single cup, which join into one compact form that is easy to carry. The appearance is based on a camera lens, with a bright raised structure at the centre of the upper and lower parts. Focus is made of traditional Chinese porcelain clay with a bright glaze and a frosted outer glaze, formed by ceramic firing. A screw thread and a double layer wall reduce the risk of scalding, and the spout gives a smooth flow of water.
Focus Teaset by Luo Ranyi was recognized as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Focus Teaset earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2020.
