Base
The design of the Base series focuses on the function of a drinking glass, highlighting the contrast between being empty or full. The glasses are made from borosilicate glass. Thin and delicate, but with a solid base with a lot of depth. The series includes three sizes: 200ml, 330ml, and 500ml, and is designed to be stackable. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard, emphasizing sustainability.
Base Drinking Glass by Florian Seidl has been recognized as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Base Drinking Glass earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2025. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes exceptional design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
