Saladice Condiment container

Saladice

Saladice is a condiment container that also serves as a table centrepiece or a candle holder. The design is built from stacking cubes, each measuring 60 by 60 by 60 millimetres and made of pressed transparent plastic. Magnets join each cube to the ones above and below, while the base and the handle are made of pressed aluminium. The tower holds up to six cubes and reaches 450 millimetres. Cubes are removed and replaced during a meal. Saladice can also hold toothpicks, flowers or candles at home or in a restaurant.

Saladice Condiment container by Andrea Cingoli has been highlighted as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Saladice Condiment container was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2018. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that celebrates excellent design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
